Snorkeling & Diving
For those not dive certified, there is still plenty to see and experience with just a mask, fins and a snorkel. My personal favorite trip with Captain Delbert includes the morning snorkeling and maybe catching some fresh conch - then continue over to Stocking Island in Exuma and having lunch at The Chat and Chill! On the way back, a stop at Sandy Cay (they filmed Pirates of the Caribbean there) for a swim and to see the Iguanas - then back to Long Island to enjoy a Pina Colada at Cape Santa Maria resort at the end of the day - perfection!
The clear waters of Long Island offer a treasure of coral reefs teeming with marine life. Divers canswim and feed reef sharks, an experience offered nowhere else in the world. Whether you want to go cave diving or dive in the fascinating Deans Blue Hole, Long Island is a great place to explore and get a glimpse of tropical sea life in the Caribbean.

Guides take dive groups to see the spectacular sharks in the ocean. Dive masters use baitfish to attract sharks, allowing divers to come within inches of the sharks. The Stella Maris Resort offers Shark Dives at various times - 242-338-2050.
